Gaia Grove ( presents an evening with Indiegrrl – Independent Women in the Arts! As a prelude to the Nashville Conference coming up Aug. 20-23 at the Hotel Preston, (, join other Indiegrrl artists, creatives, innovators, musicians & entrepreneurs in a relaxed evening of networking, music, art and conversation. Indiegrrl works to create networking, educational, and showcasing opportunities for women. We are an international members organization that supports women in the arts regardless of race, religion, or sexuality. Indiegrrl welcomes, with open arms, songwriters and musicians with all genres of music, spoken word and poets, story tellers, comedy, visual arts, film, music production, radio, dance and more. Indiegrrl is working hard to produce various events including an annual conference, community festivals, individual showcases, contests and more for our members to get involved with and is working to build a community of women to support each other in their artistic careers. We partner with various community groups & charitable organizations to produce events supporting and showcasing women and to bring more awareness to local women artisans & to donate to various charitable causes.

eclectic award-winning singer-songwriter, keyboardist, percussionist, performing artist & activist from DC (via NY) starting Magical Mystery Tour

Athena Reich (in from NY)
bold powerhouse performing artist & activist in from NYC for screening of theme song she wrote for Living in Captivity @ ITVfest, Love is Love

award-winning nationally touring singer-songwriter from Jersey who is now settling into LA for more session and studio work

Julie Chadwick
thoughtful and intriguing piano based singer-songwriter and animal rights activist involved on the local scene, hosting and raising awareness

Lisa Turner
award-winning celtic-tinged acoustic power folk-rock singer-songwriter who has been hosting Monday Night Open Mic’s at Kulak’s, beautiful

Melinda Ortner
quirky and spunky singer-songwriter with a strong voice, recently placed a song in Nia Vardolas film “I Hate Valentine’s Day”, going to Japan

Michael Ann
strong & smoky voiced Americana songwriter with powerful alt-country expression, dynamic performance and style

Nance Broderzen
passionate & outspoken renaissance woman painter, poet, spoken word artist, and very active in the local LA art scene & community

Also featuring performance of the song “Mother Earth” by Shanna O’Brien

Graphic Designers, Producers, Designers, and other creatives networking and sharing services from the start of the event at 9PM including Summer Solstice Creations, MAAT Music, FCW Society, Mani O’Brien Design, more…
